Many lives, Many Chapters….
Born in 1947 as Janet Fenn; once Newport Potter and bookstore owner (Spring Pottery & Wellspring Books) and “sixties” Beacon Hill romantic~dancer, writer, lover of music, family, friends and the magic of spiritual alchemy~ married to potter/singer Harry Spring and lovingly connected to Sarah, Shane, Greta and Tallulah Roche of Wickford, R.I.
Janet-Elizabeth took her grand-mother’s name, Elizabeth, when she moved to California at the age of forty, at her Uranus Opposition. She was a lecturer at the Krotona Institute of Theosophy in Ojai, California, while writing on the lives of Annie Besant and Krishnamurti, and ….picnic-ing in the hills around the Ojai Foundation.
Elizabeth is a free-lance writer who has written a screenplay on the life of Annie Besant and the philosopher , J.Krishnamurti, which won a first place award from the Santa Barbara Screenwriter’s Guild, and a first place award at the Santa Barbara Writer’s Conference. That screenplay has been transformed into the book: “Sweet Synchronicity: Finding Annie Besant, Discovering Krishnamurti”.
Elizabeth’s teaches yearly, a one day workshop at the Boston Jung Institute. The last one was on: Neptune: Planetary Archetype of Mirage, Mysticism, and Madness.” Natal birth charts and transit charts were made for all participants, and Carl Jung’s chart and his Red Book were discussed. See bottom of page for description.
She is a member of ISAR, the International Association for Astrological Research, and is a member of NCGR,the “National Council for Geocosmic Research.”
“Neptune; Planetary Archetype of Mirage, Mysticism, and Madness”
When Jung wrote to Bill W. about “Spiritus Contra Spiritum” he was writing in part about the archetype of Neptune. Oceanic Neptune reflects the yearning for Spirit, the desire to merge and connect, and inspires great art and the religious impulse. It is also filled with the flotsam and jetsam of illusion and discontent. Neptune touches all of our lives and can be uniquely understood by its placement in our astrological birth charts. In this workshop you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how this illusory planet operates in your life and chart, and its placement in Carl Jung’s chart. When registering please include your birth day, place, year, and time if you have it (not essential). Each participant will receive their birth chart and previous knowledge of astrology not required.

Elizabeth has spoken on the feminine aspect of God; “Sophia” at Salve Regina University, and Channing Unitarian Church in RI. She loves Celtic Christianity…and the blend of Celtic Christianity with archetypal astrology…. the universal cross of the mandala representing the infinite nature of God’s love. As John O’Donohue says: “The circle around the beams of the Cross rescues the loneliness where the 2 lines of pain intersect-here there is hope, and a resonance of eternity…”

*Previous Classes at the Boston Jung Institute:
November, 2006, “Making the Gods Work for You: Astrological Saturn as Archetype and Motivator in Life”
November, 2007 “Uranus, Planetary Archetype of Change and Individuation
November, 2008: “The Mandala of the Birth Chart”
In this participatory class we will delve into the mandala of the astrological chart by exploring the planetary archetypes theoretically and within the personal mandala of your own birth chart. Together we will delve into the symbolism and meaning of the planets in their signs, houses, and aspects, and explore how the wheel of the horoscope can be used for spiritual contemplation. We will also seek to envision the highest possible expression of these planetary energies, and look at how the synthesis of the chart appears in the Moon’s Nodes: a synchronistic hint of one’s life direction and soul purpose. Nov 8th 10-5:00 Register with the Institute, then call me with birth infor so I can create your birth chart for the class.
